a white scarf

A couple months ago, while shopping at Cato's, 

I saw a scarf I really liked and I figured I could

just get the measurments to make one myself.

Mom had some extra knit fabric, so I decided to try one.

----

All it takes is 5/8 yard of knit{I think I trimmed approx. 7 inches off the end}

Sew the 2 ends together than lay flat and
cut 1/2 inch wide fringes 5-6 inches long on both sides.

It took me less than half an hour to make. 

 ----

It's very inexpensive and easy to make!

Not to mention it would be a great gift!

The photo challenge this week at i-heart-faces is 'dramatic black&white'.

 I made a scarf like one I saw at Cato's, and wanted to take a few pictures of myself wearing it.

The evening light coming in my room the other day was absolutely

delicious and I was able to catch a few fun shots!

I got it at Charlotte Russe last fall at Tanger Outlets, while shopping with a friend.(:

I haven't played with them in forever..They are alot of fun though.

They're so colorful I just love them. (:

Oh yeah, and they're alot of fun to shoot at your brother!

My younger siblings love stacking..

Its supposed to help hand-eye cordination and is a wonderful invention,

but I think they should invent cups that are little quieter....

oh well, atleast its better for them than sitting infront of the computer or tv all day.

Actually this is what inspired me to do this photoshoot.

I was sitting on the couch knitting and thinking how beautiful and full of color the yarn was so I decided to take pictures of colorful things!

-socks-

I really don't like them most of the time...

but they're not so bad when my toes are super cold.(:

-buttons-

*something fun to try:: put magnets on the back of buttons.

{you can get 18 strips of magnet at Walmart with one side thats adhesive

 and it only costs about a dollar!}

I have a magnetic chalkboard in my room,

so I cut the magnets to size, putting them on the back of buttons

and use them to hold up a collage of pictures.(:

No, I'm not so smart that I would think of something as cool as that, I got the idea from another blog..

Spring has finally arrived in GA!
