The MANY fun expressions of a 6 month old!!!

 

 It was a PERRRFECT day for taking pictures.....not too warm or too cold: too bright or too dark......

 

These first pictures here were takin at an old train depot in Grantville. There's an awesome big blueish-greenish doorway and white washed brick....

 

 And the rest of the pictures were taken at this amazing old building...

 

 

Last week Harrison had his 6 month birthday..so we drove to an awesome little old town just a few miles from our house to take a few pictures

He was watching cars go by... [:

*He did that cute thing with his hands all by himself!

This was the first time I had ever been in Grantville and I had so much fun!

Anybody want there pictures taken?!?!?! I hope to go back someday soon and take pictures by this awesome door...and some of the other AWESOME places there!!!

So these might not be the most interesting pictures you've ever seen, but some days the sky is jus so amazing I can't help but take pictures of it!!! And........this happens to be the best way to get pictures of the sky at our house!

Editing fun!

I increased the shadows, added a little contrast, and boosted the saturation. (=
I like the "realness" of the first one and the artsiness of the second.

Which do you like better?? Before or After

I order some picture prints last week so hopefully they'll be in the mailbox tomorrow!!!
The only part I don't like about online ordering is the waiting!!!!!

Having fun with Courtney:~

The weather was extra beautiful for a few days and it got me in the mood for taking pictures, so I got Courtney dressed up and took her outside for some fun pictures!

The more "calm" shots......lol (you'll see what I mean in a minute)

She was goin all over the place!! haha I guess there's more than one way to work off the energy that only a 3 year old has.

 

I told her to try make a more solemn face and this is what she did......

   

guess she thought it was funny!!

   

If you want to practice on little girl candid photography come over to my house and we'll dress Courtney up and take her outside!!!

   

I took these pictures on the back side of our neighbors shed. We were actually on our property, kinda, I guess more like on the line.

I absolutly love taking pictures of small children. They're usually easier to take pictures of than older children, atleast thats how it is for me. They tend to be more "natural" in front of the camera if you have them in a familiar setting, and when you let them have fun!
